Shower of Flowers

Hello, lovelies! Spring is finally upon us now that the weather is warming up (and not being as sporadic). Of course now it’s fashionably acceptable to dust off all your floral patterns and welcome the start of warmer weather. As Miranda from The Devil Wears Prada would say, “Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking.”

As Spring Break is just around the corner, and I am definitely going to be swamped with homework and midterms for the next two weeks. I’m actually writing this post as a study break, sigh. Hope everyone is doing well and is surviving midterms! Good luck!

The Little Things

Hello, lovelies!

I know I’m being incredibly redundant, but seriously, the weather in Texas is so bipolar. While it was incredibly hot and humid yesterday, it is now cold and windy. The question of whether or not to wear a jacket is always an uncertain one during this time of the year especially, but I hope everyone is doing well and is staying warm.

I stuck to the basics with this outfit, and I kind of love minimalism lately. First of all, it doesn’t take too much thought, and second of all, it’s easy. We seem to often focus on the details, but sometimes we just need to take a step back and enjoy the little things. Lol, what started as a description of my outfit turned into a cliche (but true) statement about life. Haha.
