Tickled Pink

Hello, everyone! Happy weekend!

After a long week of working, it’s nice to hang out with my friends and enjoy the summer. Without homework, weekends are pretty much packed with sleeping, eating, watching TV, and exploring the city.

The bold, neon pink of the top is –of course – what drew me to it in the first place, but wearing such a vibrant color can be a little tricky. I paired it with light washed jeans and a printed belt to tone it down while not covering up this beautiful top.

Hello, Summer!

Hello, everyone!

The stress of finals has finally subsided, and finals are in the past. My summer has officially begun, and I’m so excited to share that I will be working on campus this summer. Granted, this means I won’t be as active as I was last summer, but I’ll be posting as regularly as my schedule permits (especially since I plan on finally exploring the city more this summer). Here’s to a great summer!

I can’t believe that my freshmen year of college is over. Everyone talks about how time passes so quickly, but seriously, I can remember vividly my first few awkward days at college. Hey, I still have some awkward days, but I’ve learned so much this year. So many expectations of college floated around in my head as I anticipated and finally stepped onto campus, and while not all of them were fulfilled, I lived and learned. My college experience was not anything like the movies, not defined by parties or any of the stereotypical college experiences, but honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing. I’m so grateful for my family, my good friends back home, and the new friends I made this school year. Thanks for a memorable year, guys.

Look forward to some more memories made this summer!
