August is almost over, which means that fall is just right around the corner! I’m so excited to finally be able to wear jackets and sweaters again, but I don’t want to just put away all my spring and summer wardrobe just yet — like these mint pants from Zara, which are extremely comfortable and fit well. Lucky for me, pastels are a trend this fall. Balancing them out with neutral accessories — a trench coat and some booties, I instantly have a fall ready outfit, and I don’t have to shell out extra money for a new fall wardrobe.
I just started a new series on my channel where I style some of my closet essentials. Not only will it give you ideas of pieces to invest in, but it’ll also give you some inspiration on how to style the piece in different ways.
First episode of my series features the staple for every working woman’s closet: a black blazer. I know that I shied away from wearing this piece since I was afraid I would look “too old”. However, I think it’s a piece that every woman should invest in, no matter what age. It will definitely be handy for internships and job interviews, but it can be versatile in making even the most simple and casual outfits instantly chic.
Black blazer featured in this video is from Banana Republic (more info in my last post here).
Thank you so much for reading and watching! Have a gorgeous day!~
From blazers to jeans, menswear is one of my favorite trends to incorporate into my everyday wardrobe. My staple, go-to outfit is already a button down and jeans, but trading in my skinnies for some boyfriend jeans and layering a black blazer, I suddenly have an outfit with some boyish charm. See more ways I style a simple black blazer here.
Good morning, world!
Wearing your high school letterman to college is a faux pas (dear incoming college freshmen, unpack your high school letterman), but I love how comfy and classically All-American the silhouette is. This was not my actual high school letterman (that I had earned from choir, not anything remotely athletic LOL), so wearing it to college isn’t too bad, right?
Tax free weekend was this past weekend in Texas, so I took advantage of some of the deals to invest in some pieces for the next season. Shopping is my vice, but I did manage to only buy pieces that I can wear now (with this blistering hot weather) and later when the weather cools (which probably won’t be until November LOL). I’m hoping to film a lookbook with the items I got soon, so stay tuned for that!
Forever 21 Romper
Ann Taylor Trousers (printed ones seem to be sold out online, sorry!)
Ann Taylor Midi Skirts
Target Dress (sold out online, but similar print here)

You know I love this skirt when I wear it and feature it in two blogposts. Incorporating more color into my wardrobe has been a goal of mine, and I’m glad I’m finally venturing away from my standard navy, black, and white. For the girl who overdresses all the time, this could be a perfect back-to-school outfit. Throw on a simple cardigan for those chilly classrooms, and you’re good to go!
As you all know, I started my own Youtube channel last week. I just posted a new video featuring two of my favorite dresses for this summer. I’m still trying to figuring out the recording option of my camera, but I hope you enjoy my new video!
Leave a comment of videos you would like to see in the future!
Have a gorgeous day!~
Good morning, world!
Back to school season is now in full swing, and while starting a brand new semester sounds treacherous, looking stylish and comfy for class shouldn’t be. I styled three outfits to give you some inspiration while still remaining comfortable and able to recycle some of your summer pieces.

Good morning, world!
Two posts in two days? It’s almost blasphemous, but I’m really excited to announce that I have now have a youtube channel to complement this blog. Check out my first video here.
